Update Regarding COVID-19
In light of recent developments regarding COVID-19 and the Chief Medical Officer’s most recent recommendations, the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers (NBASW) has closed its physical office until further notice. Please note that this closure does not mean that we are suspending out operations and services as our staff will be working remotely via digital means.
As stated by the Chief Medical Officer, it is vital that we all keep our distance from one another (two metres or six feet) and practice social distancing. We have had to make this difficult decision to close our offices to protect not only our staff and stakeholders, but also our members and guests to our office.
At this time, we ask that all registration renewals be completed online by completing your registration form here and paying your dues here. If you have any questions about the registration process, please do not hesitate to contact us, however, please understand that there may be a delay in responding to inquiries as we work through these unique circumstances.
Over the coming days and weeks, the NBASW will continue to monitor the rapidly changing developments and provide members with any further updates as they become available. You can follow up on Facebook and visit our website for these updates as well.
Most importantly, we want to remind everyone to stay safe and follow the directives of the Chief Medical Officer and Public Health. If you’re looking for more information on the COVID-19 outbreak in New Brunswick, including services available, we encourage you to visit the Government of New Brunswick webpage on the matter.
