Close colleagues celebrated Anne Caissie during a congratulatory event on September 9^th, 2024, that highlighted her exemplary leadership skills, advancement of the social work profession, and strong advocacy for her clients throughout her 33-year career as a front-line social worker.

The Canadian Association of Social Workers Distinguished Service Award is presented annually to an individual or group of individuals selected from their membership by each CASW member organization.

The NBASW Selection Committee chose Anne Caissie as the recipient. She is recognized for her dedication to the social work profession, her compassion, and her positive impact on clients and colleagues alike.
